Please take some time to step out side of yourself today and remember those who have fought and those still fighting. Remember those who lost their lives, family members, friends, or co-workers on this day 7 years ago. Remember that no one is guaranteed tomorrow so tell the ones you love how much you love them. Do something good for someone today in honor of the soldiers and victims of 9-11.
Here at school we are wearing our Dress Blue uniforms, having a moment of silence this afternoon, firing a ceremonial round from the cannon, and having a midnight march to show honor and respect. I get to fire the cannon today and I am overcome with pride to do it.
Thanks to everyone serving this country and thanks to those of you who still support them and remember that 9-11 is over but our soldiers aren't home yet.

Thank you for reminding us of this day and what it represents. I am grateful for all the people who have served this great country so that I may have freedom. I don't take that for granted and I respect the lives that were lost and try to live each day to my full potential. What a sacrifice that was paid on my behalf for my peace, freedom, justice and liberty.
Thanks!
Great Post!
