It is about time. I am so elated to see that one of the survivors from the Columbine shootings is sueing Solvay Pharmaceuticals who is the manufacturer of the psychiatric drug Luvox which Eric Harris was on when he went on his shooting rampage.
One of Taylor's experts, Peter Breggin, claimed
in a preliminary report filed with the court that Luvox triggered
Harris' rampage. "Absent persistent exposure to Luvox, Eric Harris
would probably not have committed violence and suicide," claims Breggin.
The U.S. District Court Judge in this case, Clarence Brimmer, "ruled the lawsuit could proceed
and Taylor's two scientific "experts" could testify." This case is being tried in Denver.
I hope that Matt Taylor wins his case, when we start to hold these pharmaceutical companies accountable for not just giving the drugs but for the actions of the users of their drugs, it will make them think twice before they issue these psychiatric drugs to people who may be treated or healed in better ways.

It was great to finally read that someone is going to get to sue the pharmaceutical companies with a good chance of winning. I for one will be cheering Matt on.
