I love music. I think it is a very powerful, motivating force and can be used in many ways. It can lift you up, depress you, make you feel sad, happy or downright mad. I really like music that has especially good lyrics and which makes you reflect and think. Music that stirs you deeply--deeply enough to make you want to change or take action.

I have one song that I really love because the lyrics are so powerful. It is called "Just Be." I love the video as well, because the lyrics flash throughout the video. I was lucky enough to find them on the web.

I think many people don't know how to "just be." I would even go as far to say that many people spend their entire lives running from themselves. It is exhausting. I have to say, that it is really refreshing to know who you are, and to "just be" who you are. It is courageous not to be afraid to let other people know too. In fact, I think it is very endearing. It makes us real, gives meat to our fabric! I think people have a real hard time forgiving themselves. Everyday, they look in the mirror and after awhile they don't recognize the person who is staring back at them. Kinda like in the TV series "MAD MEN" and the main character Don Draper. That poor guy is running because his life is so compartmentalized. It is a wonder how he does it. My heart really goes out to him because I stare into many faces that are just like that. Forgive yourself! Find more peace and forgive yourself. With each new sunrise comes a new day to start over. "JUST BE!"
